Sketti!

Wow, I have a lot of blogging to catch up on. But not today.

We had sketti for dinner tonight. It was Maddys first time.

We tried a sippy cup, but she just ate the Sketti off of it instead

Well it was quiet an event! She LOVED the Garlic Bread. But didn't really care to eat the Sketti unless I fed it to her with a fork!

I have lots more pictures to post. But I will do it another day.

Early morning.

Today, was supposed to be 'Dance Class Day'. Got up, woke Holly up, Changed Maddy - Then Holly lays on the floor and wont get up:

Mommy - "If you don't get up and get dressed, your going to be late for dance."

Holly - "I don't want to get up, I have to go potty first"

Mommy - "Ok go, if we are late, we aren't going to go."

I walk into the bathroom after a minute, and Holly is on her knee's in front of the toilet.

Mommy - "What are you doing, Holly?"

Holly - " I feel sick"

Mommy - "To sick to go to dance class?"
Holly - "Yeah, I'm gonna go lay down."

I'm totally shocked now, Holly loves dance class. But I help her lay down. A minute later...

Holly - "I'm gonna throw up..." (covering her mouth, walking to the bathroom)

Mommy - "Are you sure?" (Sometimes she makes stuff up.)

She threw up...

Holly - "See, I told you I was going to"

Holly - "I'm ready to go now. I feel better"

She still wanted to go to dance. I told her no. We are now watching some Disney Channel show. Poor Holly.

Maddy has found new ways to play with things she's to big for now. I still try to lay her in her bouncer while she's drinking her bottle. This is what she ends up doing...

In this one, she is on her knee's, bouncing.

This one, she is on her feet, jumping.

She is such a doll. But she is now yelling at me to change her diaper.

A day with family

Yesterday I watched my 3 year old nephew while my sister was at work. We spent a lot of time with my SIL Sara and her 6 month old Zoey. Grandma Griffith even came by for a little while. It was a full crazy house, but we had fun.

Donavon and Holly destroyed her room (at least they cleaned it before he left) but they had a lot of fun in there.

When we went upstairs, we found my beautiful kitty's sleeping on the Love Sac together.

Then they had a lot of fun playing with each other and grandma.

Maddy didn't like Zoey leaning on her.

Then daddy came to play before he had to go to work.

All in all it was a good day. I didn't get my laundry done like I had hoped. So now I have to go do it right now before I run out of diapers.

Then it's off to lunch with Daddy, Luke and Natalies'. New Mexican restaurant that is supposed to be pretty good. We will see. And I'll be sure to get lots of pictures to post for tomorrow.

The Beginning

I've decided since I am home all day now, I should start a blog to keep track of our daily adventures.

Today is the start of something new.

I've been home now for over a week, and I love it. Although it can be stressful at times, dealing with a 3 year old and an 8 month old, I'm starting to get used to it.

Holly is as smart and adventurous as can be. Some of the things she says baffles me! Where do kids get these things?

Maddy just keeps getting bigger. When does the growing slow down? It seems like yesterday that she was born. Now she's crawling and cruising. She's so fun to watch. She learns new things everyday.

Saturday we went to the Living Planet Aquarium. Our first time. They all had a blast. Even if there was some fits and temper tantrums... (Brock) :)

Later we went to eat and then to Target, while we were pulling up to Target Holly sung this song: "There's a prince, and he's going to marry me. His name is Oga, and he is so handsome. I can't believe he's going to marry me!"

Mommy: Oga?
Holly: Yeah, it's his name.
Mommy: That's a silly name.

Holly: No, it's a cool name. Oga, as is Ogapuss.
